Eight of us stayed here for 10 days. A family group ranging from 14 months to Grandparents, age not disclosed!! As per the "brochure" 5 bedrooms 4 bathrooms, a lounge area to chill out in a nice TV with every TV channel imaginable - sport as well! A super well appointed kitchen area with all mod cons and an outside area with built in barbeque and a pool that would not look out of place in a 5 star hotel, and a sea view to boot. The villa has great furnishings - well appointed and overall just great facilities. Dan and Michelle the owners are great to deal with, very helpful and in Lanzarote they have a team who will attend to the pool, the gardens, change linen and generally are there in the background should you need any assistance with anything. E.G. the element in the toaster packed up one morning, a call to Dan and Michelle's contact, just to let them know really as we were not complaining and going home the next day or so and a new toaster was brought that afternoon. Great service in that respect. Location? a 25 minute amble to the centre of Playa Blanca - we were never in a hurry. The immediate area is nice and quiet with a backdrop of the Red Mountain. 45 minutes to the top and then a walk round and into the crater is well worth it. The villa is basically all on one level with a small step into the kitchen and one out to the patio area, where the pool is gated off as an excellent safety measure for young ones. Whilst there our 14 month old learnt how to manage the small steps mentioned with little trouble and absolutely adored the freedom that the gated pool gave her, and us. We cannot speak too highly of the villa and Dan and Michelle and their "team" who made our 10 day holiday one to remember for all the family.

Just returned to cold England from sunny Lanzarote staying in perfect Villa Coco. As all reviews say it's great for a family gathering with so much space, and every comfort with 4 great bathrooms. Huge living area and big pool. We particularly enjoyed BBQ cooking and eating on the patio every evening. Enjoyed the fresh fish especially including Octopus, Prawns, Sea Bass, Sardines and Tuna - all from the local supermarket and very cheap ! Very useful to have a car with 4 little tiny children. Villa Coco provided an ideal holiday solution to our large family group (9 people); the pool kept the kids occupied all day long; BBQs in the evening or dining out at any of the very good local restaurants kept the women out of the kitchen (for a change!) An excellently furnished villa with loads of space; beautifully furnished with every conceivable gadet for modern living (Playstation, wi-fi etc.). A wonderful welcome pack of basics (including wine!) was thoughtful - and much appreciated. All our wants/needs were addressed before departing the UK. The villa exceeded our expectations (even the photographs don't do it justice.) If you are searching for a fabulous villa, in a quiet neighbourhood but within walking distance of the town of Playa Blanca or the beach, then look no further. There is not one negative comment I could make (except that we had to leave and return to dreary English weather at the end of our Christmas break.) It was superb and everyone loved it.

This has been the best villa we have ever been to. It was lovely and clean, the fixtures and fittings are excellent, the beds are really comfy and it is very spacious. The heated pool is a nice big size and deep enough, although it is salty water don't let that put you off because it was a first for us and the water is really diluted. When my extended family (5 adults. 3 children and an infant) arrived there was a great selection of food, drink, wine, water etc in the welcome pack. All the window have shutters and mosquito grilles over them to close as you wish, which is handy to keep the rooms cool and the beasties out. You don't really need a car as it is only a 20 min walk into town but the taxi rank is round the corner if you don't feel like it. Roughly 4 euros to the centre. There is a trailing lead light for the barbeque to assist cooking in the evening. The pool table is outside, great playing in the sun with a few beers but as there was no light so it meant we couldn't play in the evening and that would be my only fault of this villa. The staff who look after the villa are all nice and friendly and the neighbourhood was really quiet. It was just a shame we had to go home. Thanks to Dan & Michelle (the owners) for all there help in making it a great holiday.

Well, what can I say. Villa CoCo has to be seen to be believed as the photos, no matter how good they seem, do not do this place justice. From the moment of first contact with the owners to the time we left everything was first class. We were a group of two families, seven in total and there was more than enough room for all of us to be doing our own thing as the villa and grounds are huge. When we arrived there was a wonderful selection of food, drink, wine, water etc to get us started without having to rush to the supermarket. You would be better to have a car but we were just there for two weeks of chilling out and had not booked one but it was never any hasstle as there is a taxi rank about 200m around the corner. All the rooms are beautifully appointed and the place is spotless from top to bottom, and kept that way with a weekly clean, linen change and pool clean all done by friendly folk as well. I know it seems as though I keep going on about how good this villa is but that's all I can do other than tell you that if you are after a luxurious villa with plenty of space and that little bit extra look no further than Villa CoCo.

After searching for weeks and weeks I came across villa Coco which seemed to tick all the boxes. I contacted Dan and Michelle and received prompt replies answering all my queries and more. Upon arriving at the villa we were not disappointed. It was perfect! There was a very welcome food and drinks pack which went down a treat after our long journey. We were 2 families of 2 adults and 2 children and the rooms were laid out in a way that both families had their own part of the villa rather than all bedrooms clustered together. The bedrooms contained everything needed including bedding for our toddler. The outdoor area and pool were perfect. It was great to have a locked gate for the pool as it gave us peace of mind for the children. We used the BBQ one evening to cook some lovely fish we had purchased from the supermarket. The outside pool table was used most days too! It was quite a walk to the beach with the children so we opted for taxis most of the time but they are very affordable (between €4-€5 into town). I would also recommend First Minute Transfers. I emailed them from the UK to book a mini bus for 8 people and was charged €100 for the journey to and from the airport. We look forward to going back to Villa Coco!

The owners were very helpful before our trip and as a result we settled into the Villa well. It was extremely spacious and comfortable. All areas were of a very high standard and suited all our family from the age of 18 months to 74 years. The Villa had an excellent swimming pool that we used each day and we ate outside most evenings eating food from the special barbecue on the patio. We loved Playa Blanca and the villa was central for beaches, waterpark and Marina Rubicon as well as other areas on the island. The volcano near the villa provided an easy climb and an interesting walk through it.
